Nearly Fifty Years of Support Is Just the Beginning

Boise State Emeriti, Gene and Jackie Fuller, are very proud of their roles in Boise State's amazing growth into a metropolitan research university of distinction. Through charitable estate planning, their decades of investment in the success of Boise State and its students will continue even after they are gone.

Gene's connection to Boise State began in 1967, when he accepted a position as assistant professor in the Department of Biology at Boise College. He remained with the university for 33 years until his retirement as a full professor in 2000. Jackie spent 20 years at Boise State, first as an adjunct faculty member and then as an administrative assistant.

After retirement, they established the Eugene & Jackie Fuller Biology Scholarship to help students explore their full potential with less worry about how to pay for their education. The Fullers understand that giving to scholarships-Boise State's greatest need and top philanthropic priority-helps to motivate students in their studies and demonstrate that they are coveted, lifelong members of the Bronco family.

By naming their scholarship as a beneficiary of a portion of their estate, the Fullers know that the student support they provide will long outlive them-that its impact will increase, year after year, in perpetuity. Because of their foresight and dedication, the Fuller's Boise State legacy-the students they help-will continue to grow long into the future and drive Boise State forward toward an ever brighter tomorrow.
